Castle Howard and York

Regardless of your age, who can fail to remember the stunning setting for the BBC series of Brideshead Revisited? Well, a treat awaits us as our Christmas visit of 2024 will be to Castle Howard. Travelling via Leicester, we will be staying for two nights at the magnificent Parsonage Hotel and Spa, some six miles from York. On Day two we have a morning visit to Castle Howard, resplendent in its Christmas finery, and then we go into York itself where there is the opportunity to visit the world-famous Christmas market – or why not visit York Minster, the Treasurer’s House, or even partake of tea at Betty’s! Day three sees us returning home via Coventry. We look forward to sharing this experience with you.
