About the Event
The beautiful county of Kent is known as “The Garden of England” with good reason, the magnificent countryside is stunning, so why not come and join us on our next OFWI holiday? Kent has so much to offer – beaches, castles, stately homes, as well as some of the UK’s best vineyards. We start our trip by visiting Rochester, one time home of Charles Dickens and where second oldest continuously running school in the world is sited, as well as the Castle and cathedral. Over the following days we will also visit Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Chartwell, the home of Winston and Clementine Churchill for 40 years; Sissinghurst whose gardens were transformed by Vita Sackville-West, Ightham Mote an outstanding 14th century moated manor house and gardens as well as Knole Park. We will also be having a visit to Kingscote Vineyard which will include wine tasting…
